Like many people, I’ve experienced all of these life-changing events and up until 2012, I didn’t know how to handle the emotional and mental aftermath. Many people mistakenly think they are ‘depressed’ when they are in fact grieving because their life has changed in a major way. Most of the advice we get is practical and intellectual.
